Windows 10 IOT + Raspberry PI (2) SenseHat Project --- Firework

Project Description

We found a very interesting little add on board for Raspberry PI, named as "Sense Hat", and it is just like a HAT for Raspberry PI.

As per description from its own website

"The Sense HAT is an add-on board for Raspberry Pi, made especially for the Astro Pi mission – it launched to the International Space Station in December 2015 – and is now available to buy. The Sense HAT has an 8×8 RGB LED matrix, a five-button joystick and includes the following sensors: Gyroscope."

It is a little giant, powerful enough to demonstrate lots of functionality for different sensors. Before we try out all of those interesting sensor, we like to test it LED display first, here it is our first project --- Firework.

The code was done in Blockly, and here it is the description from wiki

Blockly is a client-side JavaScript library for creating visual block programming languages and editors. It is a project of Google and is open-source under the Apache 2.0 License.

Anyway, Blockly is just like Scratch, and it gains more popularity since more game and small robotic kit was supported by Blockly.

The code is very straightforward, with little knowledge of the Scratch, you will easily understand the code.

Here it is the screen snapshot for project.
